HGCBT PERFORMANCES

HGCBT stages two major productions each year, a holiday show in December, and a Spring show in June. By producing these dance performances, HGCBT is providing accessible, artistically excellent dance in the Poolesville region of Northwestern Montgomery County.

 

Traditionally our holiday performance is a ticketed event at a regional theater, such as BlackRock Center in Germantown, or the Kreeger Theater in Rockville. These paid performances provide both our artists and patrons with a professional quality production, creating an enriching and memorable experience.

 

For three years our Spring performance has been an outdoor event at the Whalen Commons bandshell in Poolesville. These events are free to the public, making excellent art more accessible for all audiences. Through these performances, HGCBT is invigorating artistry in our community!

HGCBT also works with Essence Studios in Poolesville to provide additional performing opportunities for smaller groups of dancers, such as dancing at the "A Taste of Riverworks" festival, the Poolesville First Friday Lighting Ceremony, and the Monocacy Lion's Club Holiday party. Both HGCBT and Essence Studios are eager to find additional dance opportunities for the young dancers in the community.
