11am-2pm: Visit artists and watch them paint at iconic sites around Poolesville & the Ag Reserve.
4pm-7pm: Enjoy music, performance, wet paint auction, adult and children’s art activities,
beer and wine tent, ice cream and, of course, LOCALS food, at the soon-to-be Riverworks Performance Center

HGCBT AND ESSENCE MINI PERFORMANCE

The Taste of Riverworks festival will kick off with a mini performance by dancers from Essence Studios, Dance & Performing Arts, featuring classical ballet, hip-hop and contemporary jazz pieces, including the premiere of a new work, "The Persistence of Memory," choreographed by Essence Studios student Cecilia Zeranski!
This event will also be the debut of the new sprung floor on Riverworks' outdoor stage, the only outdoor floor of it's kind in the county. A sprung floor, which is designed to provide cushion and bounce to dancers, is essential to protect muscle, bone and ligaments. The floor at Riverworks was built by HGCBT and funded by Riverworks and our community, through the "Tall and Small Ball" dance in Poolesville.
All of the below items will be on display at the HGCBT tent at the Riverworks festival from 4pm to 6:30pm. You bid by putting your name, contact info and bid on a bid sheet that accompanies each item. If your bid is the highest at 6:30pm, you win! If you are present, come to the tent at 6:30, so you can pay for the item and take it home. If you are no longer present we will contact you to arrange for payment and pickup. NOTE: Each item will have a "buy it now" price, displayed with the item at the HGCBT tent at the festival.
